Regional animal feed company seeks to hire a Dairy Nutrition Specialist for a territory in Union, Mifflin and Snyder counties in Pennsylvania to consult with dairy producers and sell animal nutrition to local farms.  This opportunity can best be described as taking a good territory and making it great.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. This is a local search. Candidates should be located in central Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

This position requires candidates to have a basic understanding of dairy production, a good understanding of agriculture and sales aptitude, experience selling in the dairy business. Successful candidates may have sold feed, genetics, farm equipment, dairy equipment or animal health products. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have an outgoing personality and enjoys 1 on 1 interaction with farmers. Candidates must be self motivated and self directed. A four-year degree in agriculture, dairy science or animal science is strongly preferred.
