Salary: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00

Job Description

Regional animal agriculture company seeks experienced sales consultants who are passionate about animal agriculture!  In this role you will develop business to grow their presence in Ohio.  Various territories are available in Ohio including Wooster, Lima, Van Wert, Defiance, Toledo, Findlay, Bowling Green and Fremont, and in Michigan including Bad Axe (Michigan Thumb), Cadillac, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, Big Rapids, Mt. Pleasant and Lansing.

Successful candidates will have demonstrable success selling agricultural products to dealers (feed mills/farm stores) or direct-to-farm to dairy, swine or beef operations.  Typical candidates have at least 2 years of sales experience in one of the following areas: genetics, animal feed, animal health, agronomy, milking equipment, veterinary products or similar product lines.  Candidates must have a BS degree in animal science, agri-business or dairy science.  A strong track record of success coupled with a strong understanding of animals/farming is required.   Knowledge of animal nutrition is desired, but not necessarily mandatory.  This company manufacturers feed products for all species.
